October 6, 2017 –
St. Francis & Clare: Are They Different Than Me?, Fr. Ken Laverone OFM.

The founders of the Franciscan Way of life seem beyond reach for many of us.  St. Francis and Clare of Assisi were two individuals that had a vision of the goodness and generosity of God.  What does it take for us to have this same vision.  Can we too be a light in the darkness for others today.

November 3, 2017 –
All Saints/All Souls: Who Are They?, Fr. Paul Botenhagen OFM.

Sinners and Saints, are we talking about ourselves?  We will reflect on who God calls us to be in our lives.  How does God look upon those who are his beloved children?  How does look upon us?  How do we look upon the sinners and saints in our lives?

Note: NO December 1st Day of Recollection

Special Advent Days of Recollection
December 6, 2017 – Hope in Advent?, Fr. Ken Laverone OFM.

In these difficult times, it is difficult to be hopeful about life in general.  All around us seems to be in chaos.  Advent is a time of anticipation and hope.  How can this time of the year be a time of promise and hope for me?

December 13, 2017 – Women of Advent, Fr. Paul Botenhagen OFM.

The stories of the bible are filled with women of all types.  Who are the women of the Advent stories?  Why are these women even mentioned?  What role does they play in salvation history?  What role do women play in salvation history today?

December 20, 2017 – Slow Me Down, Lord, Fr. Ken Laverone OFM.

These last days before Christmas are such a burden.  There is so much to do and so little time and energy to do all I think I need to do.  What do I really need to do in these last days before Christmas.  What did Mary do in the time before the birth of Jesus.  What does Mary have to teach all of us.
